Seametrics AG2000 In Ground Water Well Application by Craig Pfaff

Seametrics AG2000 in Ground Water Well Application

Ground water wells come in all depths and quality, from 100 feet from grade to over 1,000 feet.  Water can be clear and sweet as a spring sky, or cloudy and full of iron and sulfur.  When it comes to accurate and dependable measurement, a flow meter must deal equally well (sic) with all of these elements, and Seametrics had the answer for Destry Simpson at Rancher's Supply in Picabo, Idaho.

Rancher's Supply is 140 miles from Boise, so customers count on Rancher's Supply to offer a one-stop, solutions approach to their needs.  From animal health & nutrition, to lawn & garden, to tack supplies, to water instrumentation, Rancher's Supply must offer what the customers need.

When a customer needed to monitor well output, Destry Simpson turned to Seametrics. "Originally, I specified a Seametrics AG2000 8" flanged magmeter, but when I realized the artesian well output was below the minimum specification, I went to Seametrics for help".

Craig Pfaff, Regional Manager at Seametrics, worked with Destry to re-specify a solution using a Seametrics AG2000 4", insuring the customer would get a metering solution accurate across the predicted flow range.

Destry was pleased with the result, on a number of levels. "Even though I am not in the direct line of the Seametrics sales channel, Seametrics spent the time up front to ensure the final answer would be within the customer's budget, and would work out of the box on an application that was just a bit out of the norm".
